Scope

This policy applies to all employees, officers, and directors of VisionPal, as well as contractors and consultants who act on our behalf.

Code of Conduct

  • Integrity and Honesty: All employees must conduct their business activities with the highest level of integrity and honesty.
  • Compliance with Laws: Employees must comply with all laws, regulations, and rules that apply to our business activities, including but not limited to those related to healthcare, employment, and data protection.
  • Conflict of Interest: Employees are expected to avoid any personal or financial interests that could conflict, or appear to conflict, with the interests of VisionPal.
  • Respect for Others: We are committed to creating a workplace where everyone is treated with respect and dignity. Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

Corruption and Bribery

  • Zero Tolerance: VisionPal maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy towards bribery and corruption. No employee or affiliate may offer, give, ask for, or accept any form of bribe, regardless of local customs or practices.
  • Government Officials: Special caution must be exercised when dealing with government officials to ensure compliance with anti-corruption laws, such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and local regulations.

Gifts and Entertainment

  • Policy on Gifts: Employees may not offer or accept gifts that could influence, or appear to influence, their decision-making or that of others.
  • Entertainment Practices: Invitations to events or entertainments must be evaluated for appropriateness and must not be extravagant or frequent enough to suggest impropriety.
  • Transparency: All gifts and entertainment given or received must be transparent and recorded in compliance with company guidelines.

Reporting Violations

  • Channels for Reporting: Employees who believe that a violation of this policy or any illegal or unethical conduct has occurred are encouraged to report their concerns via [specify the reporting mechanism, e.g., an internal reporting portal, email address, etc.].
  • Non-Retaliation Policy: VisionPal strictly prohibits retaliation against any employee who, in good faith, reports a violation or participates in an investigation regarding potential ethical breaches.
